Wow, Cindy, what a ministry you provide with the Talk-a-Latte Chats! With my schedule, I rarely get time to attend Mom's Nights or events. Listening in on these chats with like-minded women on topics that cover the spiritual, homeschool, and family gives me that rejuvinating boost I so desperately need at times! It not only refreshes the soul, it gets me excited to put new ideas into action. With how late I work on our business, I'm at my desk until the wee morning hours. I LOVE going to the archives to re-listen to the topics. With tea in hand, it's an enjoyable time to cover things I may have missed the first time around. Each time an announcement shows up in the e-mail, it's like opening a present with anxious anticipation...what's the topic going to be this time???

Hi! Thank You soo much for making it all possible to hear you online. A friend of mine had introduced you to me a few years back and ever since, Ive been enjoying your e zines and website and such. I have seen how your business has grown soo much over the years...bless your heart, and thank the Lord for your ideas and encouragement in our families homeschooling journey! Living in the middle of the ocean in Hawaii, we don't have access to very many LIVE homeschooling conferences and the internet is sometimes our only means to something close to a "conference". Although,

Who should join Talk-a-Latte chats? YOU--if you're homeschooling, if you're a mom, if you're weary, lonely, or discouraged, if you've lost your vision, or if you just wanna have fun! I was all of the above, and the chats have lifted my spirits, taught me, given me fresh vision, turned my heart and face to God, given me practical, hands-on ideas, and introduced me to some of the greatest cyber-girlfriends who are kindred spirits on thisjourney!
Cindy, I am needing encouragement at the moment - our lives have been so disrupted for the last 2 years that the girls missed loads of table time - we have a lot to do - and it is scary. Like I said before all your books and ideas are a huge and welcome gift from the heavens to people like me, floundering about in chaos. We move into our new home on 26 June and we are so excited, but also oh so busy - packing yet again and then unpacking and trying to make a beautiful nest for us to settle in. However, every time I get one of your newsletters I feel newly inspired and capable - and my faith is strengthened - bless you for that. One of these days I am going to have to meet you and give you a huge hug!!
Anyway - again, how wonderful to be able to listen to you and your guests online whenever we want to and whenever we need that special encouragement that only Cindy can deliver - yet another treat from the Rushton clan. I LOVE being able to LISTEN to you as I cook in the kitchen or work on something else. Thank you for doing the pod casts. I would never be able to read for such a long period of time during the day without feeling guilty and I can't take my computer to bed.
